Wellspring Covenant Church

Who We Are

We are a house church that meets together to worship weekly, both in person and online. This model came out of a difficult time of transition that God has used to lead us to where we are today. Rick says, “I have learned more in the last two years than I did in 20 sitting in my pew.” Each person has an active part to play in our services whether leading, reading, or actively participating as we dive into scripture each week.

Wellspring was established in 2004 and has seen many seasons with many wonderful people. Our focus is to be a church not centered on a building, programs, or fancy set-ups, but a body of believers solely centered on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and building community through being His hands and feet.

What to Expect

Navigating new churches can be kind of scary these days. You don’t really know what you’re going to get! In an effort to help you out, here is a snapshot of who we are at Wellspring Covenant Church.

On a typical Sunday morning we meet in someone’s home or occasionally on zoom. We are a gathering of about 5-6 households, with a mix of ages from kids to older adults. While our start time says 10:00am, we use the first 10 minutes to gather, grab a snack, and catch up with each other. We consistently offer a hybrid format, with some of our church on Zoom while most are in-person. As you might expect with a larger service, we open with scripture, songs (either live or following a video) and prayer. Our house church format allows our service to be less traditional, and we usually have some form of teaching and discussion. Participation is encouraged but not required, we respect everyone’s comfort level. We finish by participating in Communion and community prayer.

There is a place for everyone to come and learn from young to old. Differing ideas are welcomed and discussed through the lens of the scripture. We are a friendly group that seeks to encourage and help one another. It is our hope that we support one another, enrich and bless others in our community while we seek to learn and follow Jesus better each day. We’d love for you to come and check us out either in person or on Zoom. Contact wellcovenantchurch7@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like this Sunday’s link.

Our Pastor

I’m Tyra Grauer, the pastor of this dynamic group of people. I am a wholehearted follower of Christ that tries to practice what I learn from the Bible everyday. My goal is to continuously follow Christ’s example of living a life that honors God. I know I don’t always get this right so I lean into grace and offer that to others too!

I have a large family and extended family that have an integral impact on my life and how I minister today. My faith-filled upbringing kept me grounded through the consistent moves that characterized my husband’s military career. It also bonded our immediate family together, Team Grauer! However, we are so glad to be in a place where we can finally put down some roots and be planted!

I have been a teacher and worship leader for most of my life, and these two experiences flavor how I lead.  I love learning and never have enough time to read or listen to the next podcast. I also love to worship and celebrate who God is. I hope to pass these loves along to others.

I hope you’ll join us as we journey to learn more about who God is and how that changes who we are.
